The scientist was disappointed at failing to meet an intelligent life form, but decided to conduct research on the planet anyway.
The planet turned out to be a paradise for dogs, where all manner of canines roamed freely instead of humans.
The scientist came up with the idea that it would be nice to bring the planet's genetic material back and combine it with new genes.
So the scientist first brought various treats and toys to befriend the dogs on the planet.
But the dogs were far more interested in the scientist's spacesuit zipper than in the snacks!
