It was a cool-looking sentence I'd seen somewhere before, and I used it whenever I wanted to appear impressive.
Then a friend threw a joke at me: "Isn't that just a song title?"
To think this person would treat such a meaningful sentence as mere lyrics—clearly our intellectual levels didn't align.
That was also why I spent so much time memorizing all sorts of impressive-sounding phrases to elevate my own intellectual standard.
But to this day, I have never met a single person who fully understood what I was trying to say.
And so, standing alone in my own impressiveness, I eventually became a person who only conversed with myself.
