Stories written one sentence at a time
Hwasee.bang is a Korean relay-fiction community. These are finished stories, translated into English.
- Someone writes the first sentence. That is all they write.
- Everyone else proposes what comes next. Several people submit a candidate for the very next sentence.
- The community votes. The winning sentence becomes part of the story, permanently. The others are discarded.
- Repeat until someone ends it. No single author controls the plot, and nobody knows the ending in advance.
